Children and youth ministries are one of the highest priorities at Erie E. Free.
Each Wednesday night during the school year we have youth ministries for children of all ages. Our youth groups are open to all students in Erie and the surrounding areas, offering the study of the Word of God to all students regardless of their church affiliation. Our youth groups are very important to us and many of our church members serve as volunteers and ministry leaders in one or more groups throughout the year.
AWANA is for students in kindergarten through fifth grades. Grades K through 2nd are called “Sparks” and grades 3 through 5 are called “T & Trs” (Truth in Training). Awana meets six months out of the year, October through March from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the church.
KFC (Kids Following Christ) is our Middle School group for six through eighth grades. Like Awana, KFC meets six months out of the year from October through March from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Middle School in Erie.
Our Sr. High Youth is open to students grades nine through twelve and meets at the church every Wednesday nights from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. beginning in September.
In addition, Erie E. Free conducts a Bible camp each June at the Rock River Bible Camp in Dixon, Illinois.
